Cider Mill's Got Talent Guidelines & Entry Form
The 2019 Cider Mill's Got Talent show will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 6pm to 8:30pm at the Middlebrook Auditorium. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRETY of this form before signing and submitting.
-All participants must be students enrolled at Cider Mill school for the 2019-2020 school year.
-Talent acts should be approximately may not exceed 2 1/2 (150 seconds) in length
-Talent acts may be solo or group with a maximum of 5 participants in the group.
-Each student may only perform in one act in the talent show (ex. May not be part of solo and group OR multiple groups).
-No video, DVD, PowerPoint, computer or CD (except music) can be part of the act.
-Each participant/group is responsible for providing all costumes/makeup/music/instruments and any and all accessories required for the act. Cider Mill PTA will provide sound and lighting for the act. There is also a piano available for participants to use during the CMGT show.
-Primary Rehearsal: April 22, 2020 4:30pm-8:00pm AND April 24, 2020 4:30pm-8:00pm (Divided in sections, but please save both dates and times)
-Dress Rehearsal: April 22 and April 24 4:30pm-8:00pm *mandatory for all*
-To ensure appropriate acts and confidence of participants- Students will NOT be allowed to perform in talent show unless they have attended the primary rehearsal AND the mandatory dress rehearsal.
-All songs, lyrics, scripts and music must be approved by the CMGT committee.
-Volunteer participation from parents is required to participate in the talent show. Volunteer opportunities will be emailed
-Submission of this form does NOT guarantee a spot in the talent show.
-The CMGT committee reserves the right to change or alter acts as needed prior to the show date.
-This is a variety show - there will be NO judging.
-ALL FORMS for ALL students wishing to participate in Cider Mill's Got Talent MUST be submitted by December 15, 2019. All submission videos MUST be received by JAN 15, 2020. Entries are not compete until each act has submitted a video.
CMGT SUBMISSION PROCESS:
After submitting this form you will be emailed detailed instructions on how to submit an audition video 30 seconds to 1.5 minutes in length. Only one audition video is permitted per act and all members of the act must be in the submitted video. After the audition video is received there will be a lottery and acts will be chosen by the CMGT committee. Please note that the instructions for uploading the video will not be emailed until EACH student in the act has submitted the entry form. Any changes from submission video (ex. If member drops out, etc.) must be approved in writing by a member of the CMGT committee.
Students will be notified if they have been accepted into the CMGT show in mid-February. Due to show time constraints not all students who send in submissions/videos will be able to participate the CMGT show.
By signing and submitting this form my student and I agree to all of the above. I also agree to the guidelines and rules of Cider Mill School. I agree to attend at least one primary rehearsal and the dress rehearsal. In the event that I cannot honor or follow the guidelines of Cider Mill School or the Cider Mill Talent Show, I understand that my act may be subject to disqualification.
